The Child and Adolescent Police in La Chorrera released a minor who was chained due to alleged abuse. The child is now safe under the supervision of the Public Ministry.

A minor was rescued by the Childhood and Adolescence Police in La Chorrera, specifically in the La Pesa area, where he was found chained and allegedly suffering abuse. Currently, the child is under the custody of the Public Ministry.

According to police reports, the rescue took place after receiving a complaint about the situation of the minor. Upon arriving at the scene, the authorities confirmed the validity of the information and proceeded to free him.

The President of Panama, José Raúl Mulino, was present during the inauguration ceremony held last Saturday. At this event, it is expected that the authorities will address important national issues and present initiatives for the country’s future.

For their part, the authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances that led to the abuse of the minor in La Chorrera. It is expected that necessary measures will be taken to ensure the child's protection and that justice will be applied to those responsible for these acts of violence.
